8:30 sharp we take attendance and sing "Hello Neighbor"

Then we usually take time to do a few more silly songs and go over our schedule for the day.

9-9:30 We work on developing our writing skills. Sometimes we do Writer's Workshop, other times we practice with Cast a Spell (practicing letter formation, sounds, and star words), or we might even do Interactive Writing. Here you see us creating murals in response to The Seasons of Arnold's Apple Tree. We will add labels interactively over the next few days.

Time to work on teamwork, cooperation, and sharing!

2:40-3:00 It is time to "Backpack Boogie" (clean up our rooms and pack our bags). We usually work in one more movement song before we sing "Skitamarinkydinkydink" and then it is home to you! It has been a fun and busy day in Kindergarten!
