PTO Updates:
The PTO meets the last Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm in the TES Art Room. We hope to see you there!

PTO Events and Activities:

  • First Friday of the Month
  • Coffee Hours
  • Beginning of the Year Flowers for the staff (August)
  • Community Picnic (September)
  • Halloween Party
  • Book Fair (Fall)
  • PTO Newsletter (Fall/Winter and late Spring)
  • Staff Appreciation Breakfast (December)
  • Town Meeting Bake Sale (February/March)
  • Family Dance (usually in March)
  • Teacher Appreciation Day (May)
  • Ice Cream Social (A thank you for Box Top Collection) (June)
  • Staff Appreciation Luncheon (Last day of school - June)
  • 6th Grade Graduation (Last day of school - June)
  • Box Tops (On going)
  • Volunteering in the Art Room, Library or Classrooms (Ongoing)
  • Baking for events when needed

The purposes of the Parent Teacher Organization are:
1.  To gather and disseminate information;

2.  To foster mutual understanding among parents and teachers: to support one another with energy

and talent;

3.  To identify ways of addressing common concerns;

4.  To match the needs of the school with the resources in the community; and

5.  To enhance the educational experience at Thetford Elementary.
