10 FROM THE PRINCIPALÕS DESK á
Once again, we need
help with navigating the parking and travel areas around school. Please do not drop children off in
the front of the school in the morning before 8:30 as this makes it
difficult for the busses to get in and to disembark passengers safely. Students should be dropped off in the
parking lot and go directly to the playground. Under no circumstances should a school bus with its lights
flashing be passed. We
also ask that you not park in the circle in front of the school when picking
students up on Fridays for the Skiway.
This is a busy time for us as we load the busses with skiers so we can
get everyone out safely and on time.
Please also be aware of the parking spaces designated as
handicapped. One is located on
the road side of the bus circle nearest the front entrance walk, and another
is marked in the cafeteria entrance corner of the parking lot. Do not block these spaces, even for a
ÒquickÓ drop off. We have
several families who need these spots each day school is in session.

helped out with the staff appreciation breakfast before the holiday break.
From what I have heard from the staff, it was a success and they enjoyed it! Box Tops: As most of you
may remember, last year the PTO put a challenge out to everyone at TES and
around town to meet the goal of collecting 3500 box tops in 2 months. That
goal was met and all TES students and staff received free ice cream sundaes
from PTO. The PTO is looking for an idea for this spring on another ÒfunÓ box
tops challenge! If anyone has any ideas or thoughts, please let the PTO
know!~ ~ Open
Positions: The PTO is also
looking for new board members for next year. If you are interested or want
more information, please let the PTO know this as
well! Remember, the PTO meets that last Wednesday of the month (as long as there
is school that day), at 6:30 p.m. at TES. Everyone is welcome! Roxanne Eastman,
