Concert FRIDAY Night, May 4th: 

Reminder of the French music concert and Diversity Celebration Friday night, May 4th at TES.  This is a free concert and we hope you all can join us!

 

Chess News: 

TES students Katie Borst, Matt Borst and Steven Landry participated in The Vermont State Scholastic Chess Championship held in Richmond Vermont on April 7th and  Steven Landry placed second among all first grade participants.  Congratulations to all three chess players!

 

From the Health Office:

Congratulations to the fifth and sixth graders for surviving Puberty Education!  They were an incredible and thoughtful audience!  We offer special thanks to 6th graders Haley Grigel and Kayla Glazer for sharing their excellent power point presentation on the Human Reproductive System.

 

SAVE THE DATE: 

ALL SCHOOL CONCERT: 

Wednesday, June 6, TES will present an all-school concert called "Classic Rock and Roll."  You'll hear old favorites like "Downtown," "Rock Around the Clock," and more.  They'll be sing-alongs and surprises.  All students will be performing.  There will be an afternoon dress rehearsal (during school) and the evening performance will be at 6:30.  More details will follow in the coming weeks.

 

6th Grade Graduation: 

Grade Parents save the date for the TES 6th grade graduation ceremony which is held on the last day of school, Thursday June 14th.  More details to follow.  If you are interested in planning for this wonderful celebration, please join other parents this Monday May 7th at 7:00 in the Special Ed conference room at TES.

 

 

SUMMER SWIM LESSONS at TREASURE ISLAND! - Ages 4 and up! To register for summer swimming lessons, please come to Thetford Town Offices on SATURDAY, MAY 12 from 10am-12pm, or sign-up after school in the lobby on Wednesday, May 16 from 3:00-6:00PM. You will need to choose a summer session time, pay a $10 fee per child, and sign a permission slip. You may also buy a season pass at this time if you desire. Please plan to sign up for one 2-week session. Classes fill on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sorry, but we cannot accommodate telephone registrations.
