FROM THE PRINCIPALÕS DESK:

We celebrated a wonderful day on Tuesday the 11th with the senior citizen residents of Thetford at the annual Senior Citizens Luncheon.  The children entertained our guests with songs and instrumental selections and each class contributed to the production of invitations, placemats, decorations and cookies. This event is an important one to the traditions of TES and could not happen without the dedicated work of Jennifer Yocom, Marty Bouchard, Sandy Dickson, Sharon Boffey, Sheila Piper, Kendra Waterbury and all the staff and students at TES. On Friday morning, December 21st, beginning at 9:00, we will hold a short assembly so that the children can hear each other sing their class selections from TuesdayÕs event and our band will play a few pieces. Parent who are able to join us are welcome to attend. The first Social for the 5th and 6th grade students will be held this Friday December 14th from 7:30-9:00.  An explanation of the expectations for this event was sent home Wednesday.

Just a reminder: School will not be in session Monday December 24 through Tuesday January 1st. We will see you all on Wednesday January 2nd and wish you all a safe and happy holiday.
