On March 13th from 1:30-2:15 we will be welcoming the TIGER staff to perform their show "A Bully Isn't Your Friend...Yet!"  Tiger stands for Theater Integrating Guidance Education and Responsibility.  This is a professional theatre company designed to help schools and communities deal proactively with difficult social issues.  It is a joint effort between the Integrated Arts and Counseling programs at Plymouth State University.  The group will be traveling to Newbury and Oxbow schools earlier in the day before heading to TES.  Many thanks to the TES and OESU Arts Teams for making this possible and to Michele Ricci for organizing the event for TES.

Joanna WaldmanÕs first grade class hosted an art/poetry opening of their art and poetry exhibit on Wed. February 6thatLatham Library. The exhibit is titled, "A Glimpse into our First-Grade Lives: Internal and External Landscapes".   Their work will be on display, on weekdays, through the end of February, from 2:00-5:00 PM. The collages were inspired by the books, Skin, Again, by Bell Hooks, and All the Places to Love, by Patrician Maclachlan. This art exhibit includes collages and poems by each student and a set of "I Am From" poems written in collaboration with their Thetford Academy High School buddies, and teacher, Barb Sorenson as part of "Primary PArtners", a service learning project with TA that is in its 15th year.
