FROM THE PRINCIPALÕS DESK:

On Wednesday March 19th weÕll be trying a new vegetable laden spaghetti sauce and we hope youÕll encourage your children to try it.  TheyÕll get to participate in a ÒRate That RecipeÓ survey and play a part in determining if this one becomes standard fare at TES! To promote healthy foods and encourage better eating habits through our lunch program, we thought weÕd periodically try new recipes and ask the children to ÒRate That RecipeÓ as we grow a broader menu.

Yesterday TIGER (Theater Integrating Guidance Education and Responsibility) performed for the entire school with skits and songs about bullying and Òfinding the powerÓ to stand up to bossy or bullying classmates.

A Note from Stacey Glazer and the PTO:

I hope by now you are all enjoying your Thetford Elementary School PTO newsletter which you should have received in the mail (unless~ you receive your mail in Fairlee).~ I am really proud and excited about this newsletter as it was mostly written by the students and it is really beautifully done.~ EXCEPT for one large error, which I just found out recentlyÉ

I must apologize on behalf of the PTO, for as many times as I reread it and edited it, I forgot to double check the list of sponsors with the list from this year.~ Somehow between the different emails and the different files and different volunteers, the list of sponsors did not get updated to reflect the sponsors from this year.~ I apologize to all those sponsors! ~However, the spring newsletter will be correct (in fact I probably wonÕt make this error again). We greatly appreciate your support – we could not produce this newsletter without all your generous contributions.
