A BLAST OF FUN FOR ALL OF THE SCHOOL!!!

For three years, Thetford Elementary has had Kid’s Connection groups. In Kid’s Connection, kids of all ages and classes gather to play games, bake cookies, make snow sculptures, Hike for Hunger, and other things. Here are some pictures of the snow sculptures that the groups made on March 12, 2007.

There are many groups with about 10-15 kids each and two teachers. The idea came from, “Mary Corrigan, our school counselor, she wanted a way to connect kids from different grades because the kids didn’t know anyone outside of their own grade.” said Principal Alice Worth. Even though the idea was good, we are a small school and so I already know everyone.
