BOOKS! BOOKS! BOOKS!
The
Scholastic Book Fair is a family fun fair. Books for all ages let the fun
spread. The money raised goes to the library to help pay for the RIF (Reading
is Fundamental) free book distribution that happens three times a year, or the
P.T.O. We met our goal in the Spring Book Fair 2005 by selling over $4000. Mary
Wunderlich, the librarian, runs the Spring book fair.

We
reached our goal and we were able to give free books to the teachers from their
ÒWish Lists.Ó Cornelia Funke is a very popular author. The
big sellers have been Dragonrider and the Tale of Despereaux. Other big sellers were the Magic Tree House series and the Series of
Unfortunate Events.

There is
a scholastic book fair in the fall and one in the spring. By running one entire
week, the book fair lets parents join the fun too! We have computer games and
picture books, adventure and chapter books and comic books. At low prices these
books are available for kids.
